Most Expensive Boat Priced at €5.4 Million, High Interest in Electric Vessels
With the sound of boat horns, the spectacular international nautical fair at Marina Baotić came to a close, having welcomed more than 12,000 sea and sailing enthusiasts from April 10 to 13.
Key to success – Global presence
Key to success is being where the action happens, that’s why Icebreaker is actively present at all major yacht and boat shows across the globe. Through direct distribution at these key events it maximizes exposure for advertisers and contributors, ensuring their brand reaches the right audience.
Icebreaker has already made waves by attending and partnering with some of the industry’s most important events. The magazine was a proud media partner at the second Dalmatia Boat Show.
Seget Donji, April 14, 2025 – Dalmatia has officially established one of the most attractive international nautical shows in the region, confirmed by the success of the second Dalmatia Boat Show, which ended this weekend in the most fitting way – with the sound of boat sirens. Anyone passionate about sailing, luxury, and good entertainment made sure to be at Marina Baotić in Seget Donji between April 10 and 13.
More than 12,000 visitors attended the show, where 150 exhibitors, 200 vessels, 72 brands, and 15 premieres were presented. Compared to last year, there was a 25% increase in exhibitors and 2,000 more visitors, proving the show’s exceptional quality despite the current stagnation in nautical tourism.
“Once again, we’ve shown that Croatia is one of the world’s most attractive nautical destinations, with a long-standing tradition in the industry. With the Dalmatia Boat Show, we’ve kicked off the new nautical season, and despite the current stagnation and geopolitical challenges, we believe we’ll achieve excellent results again this year. I’m especially glad that exhibitors are extremely satisfied and already committed to returning next year. A big thank you to my team for a job well done, and to all nautical enthusiasts – see you in April 2026 for the third Dalmatia Boat Show!” said Željko Baotić, owner of Marina Baotić and the show’s initiator, who has been in the nautical business for 35 years and built one of Croatia’s most modern marinas in Seget Donji.
From luxury boats and cars to gourmet food and wine, and from vibrant music performances to insightful business panels, the Dalmatia Boat Show had something for everyone. The highlight of the event was a stunning fireworks display that lit up the sky over Seget Donji on Saturday night.
A major point of interest was the range of eco-friendly electric boats, including the premiere of the DeAntonio E-23 – a seven-meter open catamaran. Attendees lined up to explore the show’s most expensive yacht, a €5.4 million luxury vessel from Absolute, and to snap photos on the European Sailboat of the Year, the Hanse 360. The show also featured a wide selection of catamarans, RIBs, and various nautical tourism services.
Once again, strong emphasis was placed on ecology and sustainable nautical tourism. This included a panel discussion on “What, How, and Where to with Abandoned Boats in Marinas,” a sea-cleaning eco-action, and a marine biology workshop for elementary school students from Seget Donji and Kaštela.
The Dalmatia Boat Show also attracted familiar faces, including celebrity couple Ana Gruica and Boran Uglešić, Vanja Halilović and Frane Barbieri, composer and producer Tomo Mrduljaš, actor and host Zlatan Zuhrić-Zuhra, WTA Makarska Open director Feliks Lukas, Cambi lead singer Joško Tranfić, reality TV personality Šime Elez, and Snježana Schillinger (formerly Mehun).
See you again at Marina Baotić for the third edition of the Dalmatia Boat Show!
