It’s time to share industry insights
From January 22 to January 24, 2025, we attended another boot Dusseldorf. This event is always a great opportunity to see our dear partners again and to meet many new companies.
It has been over a month since our last big event, ICE, so boot Dusseldorf was the perfect time to hear feedback from our partners and present our upcoming events.
We received excellent feedback on the Charter Meetup, which we are excited to bring back this year.

This expo is always a great way to start the year. We discovered many interesting ideas and innovations that could change industry. Here are some of the most exciting ones we saw:
Liveaboard – a new way of living on a yacht
One of the biggest trends we explored is the liveaboard lifestyle. This concept allows people to live part-time on a yacht, either cruising or staying permanently in a marina. Some people use it like a motorhome, sailing for a few weeks before returning to shore. Others choose to stay on board for long periods of time.
What is the difference between chartering and liveaboard?
The main difference is duration and purpose. Chartering is usually short-term, for travel or leisure. Liveaboard is a long-term stay or even permanent living.
Monomaran – the best of both worlds
Another exciting innovation is the monomaran. This boat combines the features of a monohull with the stability of a catamaran. The Beneteau Group introduced their latest island cruising boat, which uses this new design. The monomaran was created in response to the growing need for environmentally friendly solutions in boating.Vision Anchor – no more anchor worries
One of the most creative innovations we saw was the Vision Anchor, which won a competition for the most creative idea. This smart anchoring buoy provides real-time monitoring and alerts. It helps sailors keep track of their anchor in all conditions. With Vision Anchor, you can finally relax and enjoy your sailing trip without worrying about drifting.
Boot Dusseldorf 2025 was a great success, and we are excited about what’s coming next. We can’t wait to see how these innovations will shape the future of boating.
